Development Cooperation

In many AFC partner countries, economic welfare depends on the development of a sustainable agricultural sector, rural regions with developing small and medium enterprises, the protection of the environment and natural resources. Regional development and structural adjustment programmes have an immediate impact on the basic changes in both financial/economic and economic/organizational respects. Good Governance, democratisation activities as well as a constant process of decentralisation are evolving in our partner countries.
Development Cooperation therefore can support these processes with good prospects of success. In order to achieve these results, programmes need to address sector policy, environmental issues and economic conditions. Besides this, they have to be demand driven to raise the effectiveness and sustainability of developing economies.
Economies in transition as well as countries where decentralization is taking place need to apply programmes and services that build appropriate public institutions, strengthen the private sector, improve domestic production and the integration into international trade networks.
Conditions for foreign and domestic investors must be transparent and safe. In order to ensure sustainable development, domestic institutions and companies need to be supported in the development of applied services while launching their products on domestic and the world markets.
While implementing Development Cooperation projects on behalf of different clients in the last thirty years, AFC consultants have elaborated a large portfolio of diverse services and references in many countries throughout the world.
